Merging of Minds was a book that I created for my Advanced Typography class. The guidelines were to create a book that contrasted the work of two artists and it included; Corita Kent, Norman Ives, and Mary Oliver. I chose to focus on Mary Oliver and Corita Kent because I feel like they were vastly different people, but their goals in life or messages from their work were similar. Half the book is about Mary and the other half is about Corita. The work that is included by them is work that I personally felt the most drawn to. In the end there is a personal essay that compares and contrasts Kent and Oliver.
